Empanadas Che was founded in the Spring of 2015 when the founder Bianca Izurieta decided she could no longer spend her days locked up inside an office in the corporate world. From a young age Bianca was always talking about food, eating food and creating food. It was time to put this passion into practice … and so was born Empanadas Che.

Bianca was first introduced to empanadas by her grandmother Abuela Titi and has since been busy creating the most delicious flavours to be found inside Empanadas. A true family owned and operated business, Bianca’s Mum Cristina who was born in Argentina is the magic behind the homemade pastry and helps in many ways behind the scenes.

Great Range of Fresh Food

Great place for a convenient lunch with buses at door and street parking at rear. Family friendly. Great range of fresh food with a home-cooked feel. We had empanadas with papa fritas and then coffee. The Mexican was the favourite and then the Chicken. Cosy, warm setting, limited seating yet tables turn quickly.

I Love This Place!

I love this place! I used to follow the Empanadas Che stand at the Aussie Night Markets, and was so excited to find out they had opened a store. Talk about quality, consistency and service. These empanadas are absolutely delicious, and the owners are delightful. I’m always sure to pop in for a quick bite when in Drummoyne.

Best Empanadas I Have Ever Had

I am from Argentina living in Australia. I can say these are one of the best empanadas I have ever had. Even better than in Argentina. And do not miss the Choripan!!!! Will definitely come back! The owner couldn't be nicer. Had an awesome time and ate amazing food!!!
