One thing which I always advise my clients, is to try to stay relevant with your social media and blog posts. Find current issues that are fresh in people’s mind and relate these back to your content. As an example, the recent election we had in Australia gave people a lot to talk about and in-turn gave bloggers a chance to get people talking about their posts.
Why not find a way to utilise this type of news story to your advantage and find an angle to relate this back to your business. If you are a psychologist, you could write about the emotional impact of the election for canditates or the community. If you are into marketing you could talk about the marketing mistakes each party made throughout the campaign and make suggestions on how they could have done better.
